If you enjoy singing or making music as part of worship, there are several ways to get involved here at Clemson Presbyterian Church. Contact David Conley (david.conley@clemsonpres.org) or Laurie Parsons (laurie.parsons@clemsonpres.org) at the church office for more info or if you just want to get involved!
Choirs and vocal ensembles: we currently have choirs for children, youth and adults in addition to ensembles that help lead in the services or present occasional offerings of song. All are welcome to just jump in and join the adult choir, which will be starting back up THIS SUNDAY August 30 at 4:30 pm in the Worship Center. We seek to use a variety of musical genres to present the beauty and truth of the Gospel in worship. Other worship teams meet Wednesday nights at 8:30 pm. Contact us for more info.
Orchestral Ensembles: we utilize all sorts of instruments in our morning and evening services. If you play an instrument (even if it's been a while!) we can probably find a place for you! Contact us to get involved here.
Band/Folk/Jazz Instruments: we also have room for folk, pop and jazz players in our worship services. We generally rehearse weekly on Wednesday nights at 8:30 pm with the worship team. We need typical rhythm section players on bass, guitar, and percussion plus just about anything else that would fit in the ensemble as well.
Of course, there's a lot more than what you see here, so please contact us if you have questions or would like more information!
Meetings are held Wednesday nights from 6:30 - 8:00 PM, upstairs in the CPC Fellowship Hall. Snacks & childcare are provided. Contact Tracy at tamead@swbell.net for more information.
